Rapture & Global Conflict

When the Heavens Are Shaking:
The Rapture, the War, and the Major Wake-Up Call We Can't Afford to Ignore
What Is the Rapture? (And Why It Matters Now)

The Rapture isn’t religious fantasy. It’s not hype. It’s Scripture.
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command… and the dead in Christ will rise first. The we will be caught up together with them…and will meet the Lord in the air. — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)

“Caught up” is harpazō in Greek, what is rendered rapturo in Latin. And this is where we receive “Rapture.” It's to take by force, to pluck away suddenly. It is when Christ comes back for His Church, before He comes back with His Church at His Second Coming (Revelation 19).
It will be an instantaneous, bodily and clear — for those who are believers. The world won’t see Him. But we in Christ will hear the trumpet — and in the twinkling of an eye, we will be gone (1 Corinthians 15:51–52).

The News Today Was a Warning Yesterday
The bombing in Iran is disturbing.” But to God it is not surprising.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. It is necessary for these things to take place, but the end is not yet.” — Matthew 24:6 (NIV)
War. Deception. Lawlessness. Apostasy. Earthquakes. Famines. And second, they are not arbitrary — they are precursory signs (Matthew 24, 2 Timothy 3, Revelation 6).
Iran and Israel have been central to Middle East prophecy. Nuclear threats are not just political — they are profoundly spiritual. We may not know the event that hits the detonator, but what we do know for sure is this: God’s clock is ticking down, and the church needs to look up.

The Issue: Too Many Are Snoozing
A parable Jesus underscored in Matthew 25. And the same virgins were waiting for the bridegroom. All had lamps. But only five had oil. When the call was sounded, only half of them were prepared. The rest? Locked out.
That’s the Church right now.
We have tons of people who speak the language of Christianity, yet do not know the life. Friends and family near the church, but far from the Christ. Professors of the gospel; who apprehend the truth of it, but never give up themselves to the power of it.
And that’s terrifying. Because Jesus said:
“One be taken, and the other left. — Matthew 24:40 (NIV)

What Exactly Will the Rapture Look Like?
Scripture is clear:
- The Lord descends.
- The dead in Christ shall rise first.
- The dead in Christ are caught up with them!
— And we shall meet the Lord in the air.
No press conference. No warning. Just a trumpet — and we are out of here.
“Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:2 (NIV)
After that? The world goes into a tormented period unlike any it has ever seen. Judgment. Deception. Global chaos. One world government. The advent of the antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2, Revelation 6–13).

God's heart, Not fear, but Mercy.
If this sounds ominous, if you need it said more simply, God is not trying to scare you. He’s trying to save you.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise… He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)
The only thing holding back Jesus thus far is mercy. Grace. One more chance. One more soul. One more Sunday. But time is not endless. The trumpet will sound.

Where Are You Right Now?
Let’s get painfully honest.
If Jesus were to come right now, at this instant, would you follow Him?
Not, “Do you go to church?”
Not, “Do you believe in God?”
But this: Have you repented of your sin, put your full faith in Christ and given your life to him as Lord?
Because the gospel is not about doing better. It’s about being born again.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3 (NIV)
He sacrificed his life to atone for our sins. He paid the death we owe. He triumphed to give life. And He is coming back not to try again, but to rule forever.

Church: This Is Your Wake-Up Call
If you are saved, it is time to live like it.
Let go of sin. Let go of fear.
Quit filling time with what doesn’t matter.
Begin to preach as though eternity is real, which it is.
“Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. Matthew 24:42 (NIV)
We don’t need more signs. We need more saints who have surrendered.
What we don’t need is more speculation. We need more repentance.

In short: Don’t Let This Moment Pass You By
You’re not required to understand the day’s headlines.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
But you do need to be found in Christ.
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (NIV)
There is still time, but not a lot.

So, I say:
Repent. Return. Be ready.
Or maybe the sky isn’t falling…
But the King is coming.
And He’s not coming for the inquisitive.
He is coming for the committed.
